Equally at home on fast road rides, sportive and light gravel, it combines a 50mm wave-profile carbon rim with Toray T800 carbon fibre, 5.2mm carbon spokes, ceramic bearings, a 60T ratchet hub and a titanium freehub body.

The CS50D has been designed for real riding conditions, not just laboratory testing.
Its 50mm wave-profile rim helps smooth airflow while improving stability in crosswinds compared with a traditional constant-depth rim. Whether you're riding exposed roads, rolling terrain or sitting on the front of a fast group ride, the wheel remains predictable and confidence inspiring.
The rim is constructed from Toray T800 carbon fibre, offering an excellent balance of stiffness, strength and low weight. With a 23mm internal width and 29.5mm external width, modern road tires sit with a better profile, improving grip, cornering support and overall ride comfort, while also creating a cleaner aerodynamic transition between tire and rim.
Power is transferred through 5.2mm flat carbon spokes, which are both lightweight and laterally stiff. The result is a wheel that responds quickly under acceleration and feels direct when climbing or sprinting.
At the center of the wheel, a 60-tooth ratchet hub provides fast engagement, while ceramic bearings help minimize rolling resistance. The titanium alloy freehub body offers excellent durability and resists cassette marking far better than conventional aluminum freehubs.
